Educational
Concepts is the research and development department of Klett.
In a number of projects, often funded by the EU, novel ways of
learning, methods and concepts are developed and tested. In most cases,
this takes place in an international context, i.e. in co-operation with
a number of partners from various European countries. Since 1987, Klett
Educational Concepts has gained a lot of experience in European
R&D projects. In 1996 and 1997, Klett EC was the co-ordinating
partner of the POLLEN project (Telematics Application Programme) and
from 2001 to 2003 of the YOUNGNET project (IST-Programme). In last
years ,a series of further national
and international projects have been successfully completed. Recently
Klett EC was involved in IST and eTEN projects (MetaCampus Real,
Metokis, Alfanet, SCIFI, LeActiveMath, eColours) and is currently
partner in the 6.FP projects iClass, Prolix and Elektra, in the
eContent+-project CITER and in two Socrates projects (TTA and FlaChi).
All projects deal with innovative aspects, with regards to the
development and application of Multimedia content in the field of
education.

Concepts ist die Forschungs- und Entwicklungsabteilung von Klett.
In einer Reihe von Projekten - gefördert durch die EU - werden
innovative Lernformen, Methoden und Konzepte entwickelt und erprobt.
Dies geschieht meist im internationalen Kontext in Zusammenarbeit mit
verschiedenen Kooperationspartnern. Bereits seit 1987 hat
Educational-Concepts viel Erfahrung mit europäischen
Forschungsprojekten gesammelt. Klett EC war 1996/1997 koordinierender
Partner im Projekt POLLEN (Telematics-Programm) und von 2001 bis 2003
im Projekt YOUNGNET (IST-Programm). Eine Reihe weiterer nationaler und
internationaler Projekte sind in den vergangenen Jahren erfolgreich
abgeschlossen worden. Bis vor kurzem war Klett EC an den IST und eTEN -
Projekten MetaCampus Real, Metokis, Alfanet, SCIFI, eColours und
LeActiveMath beteiligt. Zur Zeit ist EC Partner in den Projekten des 6.
Forschungsrahmen-Programms iCLASS, Prolix und Elektra, sowie auch in
dem eContent+ Projekt CITER und den Sokrates - Projekten Taaltrotters
Abroad (TTA) und FlaChi. Alle Projekte behandeln innovative Aspekte bei
der Entwicklung und Anwendung von Multimedia-Materialien im
Bildungsbereich.
