EURODELPHES' anticipated results focus on trans-european
synergies between educational bodies, broadcasters and archive
providers, educational publishers and technological partners in order
to: EURODELPHES also gave a significant contribution to consensus
building in the European multimedia industry on key technical issues
such as hypermedia and digital audiovisual data formats, methods and
tools that will provide easy access to the European audiovisual
collective memory, design of multiple delivery programmes with an
emphasis on online services, methods and user-friendly tools for
hypermedia content appropriation, etc. Finally, given that EURODELPHES is a trans-european
comprehensive value added chain, it contributed to define new business
models built on the convergence of the computing, telecommunications
and audiovisual sectors.
EURODELPHES' objectives were to design, develop and evaluate
an innovative hypermedia pedagogical environment for teaching and
learning history in European secondary schools. This fully digital and
