EduTubePlus
A European curriculum related video library for the pedagogical exploitation in class

eContentplus

The target of EduTubePlus is to create a European multilingual educational video library for the pedagogical exploitation of video in classrooms. The service will offer professional produced videos as well as user-generated videos connected to all the different curricula of the EU countries. It will support multilingualism and multicultural aspects by giving access to educational videos of 12 European languages.

Besides these pedagogical aims EduTubePlus intends to develop new business models for the educational TV and video market and the market of internet based services for schools. These business models will be evaluated within the context of the project.

EduTubePlus is based on the assumption that video resources should be used as an enhancement to a lesson or a unit of study, while specific learning objectives and goals should be determined within a pedagogical scenario. Therefore the service will be based on proved technical solutions as well as on a pedagogical framework both developed by domain experts.

To reach its objectives, EduTubePlus unites 17 Partners from 12 different countries.
